Fleur Van Woerkom was born in California. She believes in movement and seeks cold air. She writes nonfiction (memoir, artist profiles, essays) and poetry (situated in nature usually, directed to a god sometimes) and fiction (a road novel based on her fear of death) . She likes going on long walks, runs, and bike rides, photographing flowers, dancing, visiting museums, cooking vegetables, and really wishes she could be a visual artist but she’ll just enjoy their work instead. She lives in New York City.
